According to latest statistics, the population of people aged 100 and above in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the figure of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the same timeframe, the number of female centenarians almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are eager to hear from centenarians, their loved ones or friends, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s transformative changes and developments.
